Just purchased a pair of these in chocolate moose (little joke, if you think about it . . . ) and they are better than slippers - so lightweight and soft! However, I dyed the body - but not the rolled edge or kilty flap - black. They are SO classic. Had a pair of Deercraft black with brown trim, but wore them out after 15 years or so. Wanted to replace them, but couldn't find them, so this is a satisfactory solution!

I happened upon these shoes in a little shop in the early 1990's. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever found, no exaggeration. Additionally, they are so sturdy that I am just now buying my third pair.
